The Public Utteraton Machines are interactive public art works that looks like a public telephones from the 19th century. Their aim is to find out what people think about public art in New York, or other cities. They record opinions and feature a push button survey.
Responses from the recent New York installation are being archived in libraries and other archives as written transcripts with audio CD's. To keep up to date, please sign up for the mailing list using the menu above. Thank you!
